Paris, February 10th, 2026 – UGGC Avocats announces the appointment of Rim Tazi as partner in its Casablanca office, effective January 1st, 2026. This appointment reflects the firm’s sustained growth strategy and further reinforces its leadership in business law in Morocco and, more broadly, across Africa.
Rim Tazi has been with the firm since 2007 and has served as Counsel since 2019. With over 18 years of experience in business law, she assists Moroccan and international clients on their most strategic and complex transactions, with a comprehensive and cross-functional vision.
She has developed recognized expertise in cross-border transactions, with a particular focus on mergers and acquisitions (M&A), private equity, international investments and contract law. She supports clients in structuring investments, including foreign exchange and incentive scheme aspects, leading high-stakes transactions and assisting with the establishment and development of operations in Morocco.
Rim Tazi has extensive expertise in joint-ventures, corporate restructurings, and the negotiation of complex agreements, including share and asset purchase agreements, services and subcontracting agreements, franchise agreements, exclusive and selective distribution agreements, commercial agency agreements, and trademark licence agreements.
Beyond transactional matters, she advises clients a day-to-day basis in managing corporate, contractual, and regulatory issues, as well as employment law, data protection, and compliance matters.
Her client base includes leading institutional and financial groups, both Moroccan and international, particularly French and Anglo-Saxon, as well as public and semi-public entities. She advises companies across a broad range of industries, including agri-food, pharmaceuticals, automotive, aerospace, technology, luxury goods, distribution, optics,,electronic,banking,and hospitality.
